Discovery is about researching every relevant aspect of the project. These will be items of key information often not overlooked in the brief like who are the project sponsors? What is the background to the brief? Is there a clear business integration need? What is the criteria for success? example: Will the website have to interact with any existing systems and will the website have to be hosted in a particular manner? The other criteria concerns existing material – if any – and whether any extraction needs to take place.
